RKTEQU has raised the bar with our latest brew. We have been honored to bestow upon our kegerator a full keg of Ballast Point Sculpin IPA. This is by far the best IPA we have tapped to date. Beer Advocate rates this beer at 98 out of a possible 100 points. Feel free to stop on by for a taste!
The "6th First Annual Cardiff by the Sea Microbrew Festival" (for the regulars, FACSMBF) is just around the corner. The tasty tasting is on for next Saturday, April 21st at the RKETQU office. The party will go from 1pm until we either run out of microbrews, or when our tongues check out and everything tastes exactly the same. If you are bringing some delicious microbrews for everyone to sample, please bring a six pack or 3 of the big 22oz bottles of each brew. Splitting 12oz among 30 people can be a little difficult and "sip sharing" just doesn't work. Hope to see you all next Saturday. Let the hoppiness begin.
What does everyone have planned for St. Patty's Day? San Diego is host to many parades, parties and gathering in celebration of St. Patrick. One of our favorite here is the St. Patrick's Day Parade and Irish Festival held in Balboa Park. The Festival is full of arts and crafts booths, games, rides, beer garden and of course an amazing parade. Check out the details at the Parade's website HERE
Parade starts off at 10:45am! See you all there!
One of our latest projects has been around the news. You can read one of the articles from the LA Times here. You can also check out our Project Page on our website to get more information. Take a look at other photos from the grand opening in the 1950's. Courtesy of Google Images
